ABE Paint Team is looking to build relationships with professional painting subcontractors who can handle a variety of residential and light commercial painting projects in the Joplin area. We are not looking for someone who only wants the simplest, easiest work.
We are looking for capable subcontractors who can take a clear work order, understand the scope, manage the details, communicate professionally, and deliver a finished product that meets our customer standard

Interior repaint projects
Exterior painting
Drywall patching, tape, mud, texture, and paint touch-ups
Trim, doors, and enamel work • Deck staining and wood refinishing
Stain matching and clear coating
Surface prep, sanding, scraping, priming, and sealing
Small repair-based scopes connected to painting projects
Punch-list and detail work
Multi-area projects with several different scope items
What We Need From You
We are looking for subcontractors who are:
Experienced and skilled in professional painting and surface preparation
Able to handle more than one type of painting-related task
Comfortable reading and following a written scope of work
Reliable with scheduling and communication
Professional with customers
Clean, sober, respectful, and safe on the jobsite
Able to provide your own tools, equipment, transportation, labor, and supervision
Properly insured and set up as an independent business
Willing to stand behind your workmanship
Clear written work orders
Defined scope of work
Agreed subcontract price before work begins
Materials provided when specified
Professional project management
Reasonable expectations
Opportunity for repeat work when the relationship is a good fit
What You Can Expect From ABE Paint Team
Important Jobsite Standards
ABE Paint Team has made specific safety and courtesy promises to our customers. Anyone working on our projects must be professional, respectful, sober, and safe while on the customer’s property. No alcohol, marijuana, illegal drugs, misuse of prescription drugs, or impairment is allowed on the jobsite. No smoking, vaping, tobacco use, marijuana use, loud music, offensive language, or disruptive behavior is allowed on the customer’s property unless specifically approved in writing for a designated area.
Payment Structure
Projects are priced by agreed subcontract amount, not hourly employee pay. Partial payments may be considered on larger projects when substantial completion has been achieved on a clearly defined phase of work. Final payment is made at ABE Paint Team’s discretion after the assigned scope is complete, punch-list items are satisfied, the customer has approved the work, proper invoice/documentation has been submitted, and customer final payment has been received by ABE Paint Team.
